The Crisis in the Central African Republic

This week, The Sentry published a series of products on the Central African Republic in an effort to shine a light on the forces at play there and on what those with influence can do about it. Through our reporting this week, The Sentry has exposed the corrupt officials, the warlords, and their international partners competing for control of the state and of the country’s resources, and the foreign interests at the heart of the proxy war that is fueling conflict and killing thousands. We’ve also proposed new solutions to address the complex crisis facing the country.
